We only sit together in pictures

Could anyone think when we were together
that one day we would say goodbye forever
even we never thought we would break away like this
longing to hear the night hiss
I only recall now
how people used to point at us calling us “Soul Mates”
but what happened now
we don’t have that feeling in us
that sharing , that caring
ran away all the sincerity
seems like being together was just an illusion
nothing is that remains
except for some pictures
the only place where
We only sit together in pictures

No matter how far we used to be
we were still together, we were still “we”
but it’s so painful now as I drive from the same city roads
I drive alone, I carry alone this load
didn’t know thread of love was this much weak
tell me why we don’t have that feeling in us
that sharing , that caring
ran away all the earnestness
seems like being together was just an illusion
nothing is that remains
except for some pictures
