Black diamond lake, Collie, Western Australia

Another weekend, not much planned hence got on to Google maps in the hope to find a new cool place for a day trip. Black diamond lake in Coolie is almost 2 hours away so it’s an easy drive. Coolie is 1 hour away from Bunbury, in case if you are looking for food options, you can easily go there.

Black diamond lake was really calm, clear green water with reflection of the blue sky and yellow sunshine on it’s water. What a pleasant view. There were not a lot of people at the lake. Few people were boating inside the lake, so if boat riding is your thing, Black diamond lake might be a good place.

As with most country towns, we got to experience clear blue skies and the beautiful colours of nature.

The other places that we saw in Collie were Wellington and Harris dams. There is also a railway museum which was closed on the day we went there so we could not see.

Other pictures from Collie can be accessed below.
