This study evaluated the dental health of 100 participants to grade their dental erosion. In addition, pH analysis of 14 different brands of soft drinks, fruit based drinks and mouthwashes was conducted to find their level of acidity and alkalinity, so their effect on mineral loss from tooth structure could be determined. Citrus fruits, soft drinks and fruit based drinks were found to be highly acidic which can cause increased mineral loss from teeth.
